Service Technician Opportunity at Knudtsen Foothills
Knudtsen Foothills Lincoln Mazda is seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing automotive repairs in accordance with Knudtsen and Ford standards, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service vehicles in a timely manner for routine scheduled maintenance in accordance with dealer and manufacturer recommendations
- Diagnose and identify necessary repairs
- Perform approved repairs to manufacturer and customer specifications
- Communicate with the supervisor on a regular basis about work performed, necessary changes to approved repairs, or any other concerns related to the repair or maintenance of a vehicle
- Follow checklists to ensure that all critical parts are examined
- Experience in the use of computerized diagnostic equipment
- Produce legible and accurate reporting to reflect performed work
- Participate in paid manufacturer training
- Maintain a clean working environment on the automotive service floor
- Follow all safety requirements to comply with company policies, local and federal regulations
- Explain automotive problems and repairs to Service Advisors and/or clients
Requirements:
- 3+ years of Service Technician experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- B Level qualifications including diagnostic, electrical and engine repair
- Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and company personnel
- Ability to pass all pre-employment testing including background check and drug screening
- Basic computer skills required
