Allegro Home Delivery is seeking an experienced Appliance Delivery and Installation Driver to join our team in the Detroit, MI area.

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled and reliable individual to deliver and install appliances in a timely and accurate manner. As an Appliance Delivery and Installation Driver, you will be responsible for:

  • Delivering and installing appliances in a safe and efficient manner
  • Selecting and using basic tools to assemble, adjust, and install various appliances
  • FOLLOWING local codes and instructions as per manufacturer specifications to complete installation
  • Providing excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Lifting up to 70 lbs.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A 26ft box truck with lift gate
  • A two-person delivery team
  • A personal set of tools
  • An active MC & DOT number with the FMCSA
  • A valid SSN/FEIN
  • A current COI
  • A valid Driver's License with a good driving record
  • Appliance installation experience
  • To be at least 21 years of age (18 if non-driver)
