About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Occupational Health Specialist to join our team at ProgressiveHealth. As an Occupational Health Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing injury prevention services onsite for a large automobile manufacturer in Montgomery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement proactive prevention strategies to reduce the risk of injury and improve worker health
  • Conduct early symptom intervention and case management to ensure timely and effective treatment
  • Implement wellness initiatives and health education programs to promote a healthy work environment
  • Supervise exercise floor activities to ensure participant safety and proper equipment use
  • Support ergonomic program development to improve worker ability to perform job duties safely
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training, Kinesiology, Exercise Science, or related field
  • CPR/AED certification or ability to obtain prior to start of employment
  • Basic knowledge of workers' compensation and OSHA regulations
  • Ability to stand, walk, and sit throughout assigned shift
  • Previous ergonomic and/or occupational health experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
