Job Summary

We are seeking a part-time Hospice Patient Care Volunteer to join our team. As a volunteer, you will play a vital role in providing caregiving and support services to our patients and their families. This is an excellent opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others while gaining valuable experience and skills.

Responsibilities
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Help with light housekeeping and laundry
  • Accompany patients to appointments and errands
  • Report any changes or concerns to the care team
Qualifications
  • Willingness to complete the hospice training program and orientation
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Physical capacity to bend, stoop, climb stairs, lift, and carry 40+ pounds
Work Schedule

Our in-home care volunteers work a flexible part-time schedule, Monday to Friday. We are looking for individuals who are available to commit to a regular schedule and are willing to work independently.
