Employment Type: Part-time (20-29 hours per week)

The Evening Room Service Attendant is responsible for providing exceptional turndown services in accordance with the standards of The Biltmore Company. Key responsibilities include:

  • Organizing and tidying guest rooms.
  • Preparing beds for the night, including remaking if necessary.
  • Placing chocolates and daily information on each bed.
  • Exchanging used bathroom linens and glassware.
  • Refilling ice buckets and managing waste disposal.
  • Closing drapes and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
  • Assisting with stocking and delivering items to guest rooms.
  • Supporting the first shift cleaning team by refilling cleaning supplies.

Work Schedule: 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM and/or 5:00 PM - 11:00 PM (based on occupancy levels)

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a similar role within a hospitality environment is preferred. Ideal candidates will have experience in an upscale hotel or resort setting.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull weights of up to 50 pounds regularly. Candidates should be able to navigate stairs and ladders, and endure various physical movements throughout the shift.

Work Environment:

Employees may encounter variable conditions, including outdoor environments with changing temperatures and exposure to cleaning chemicals.

Essential Duties:

  1. Maintain cleanliness standards within the department.
  2. Engage with guests to provide exceptional service.
  3. Complete assigned duties accurately and efficiently.
  4. Document daily assignments and maintain accurate records.
  5. Execute turndown procedures, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
  6. Prepare and maintain a clean and organized service cart.
  7. Restock housekeeping supplies as needed.
  8. Ensure proper sanitation of all service equipment.
  9. Refill and maintain cleaning chemical supplies with care.
  10. Keep amenity caddies fully stocked.
