Job Title: Early Childhood Caregiver

St. Mark's Episcopal School in Houston, Texas is seeking a dedicated and caring individual to join our team as an Early Childhood Caregiver in our After School Program. We are looking for a dynamic and student-centered person who enjoys working with children and is passionate about providing a safe and engaging environment for our students.

Job Summary:

The Early Childhood Caregiver will be responsible for supervising students during age-appropriate activities, distributing and overseeing afternoon snack time, supervising recess time and ensuring safety guidelines are observed, and assisting with dismissal and parent pick-up. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children ages 12 to 35 months and be able to pass a Texas Childcare licensing background screen.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise students during age-appropriate activities
  • Distribute and oversee afternoon snack time
  • Supervise recess time and ensure safety guidelines are observed
  • Assist with dismissal and parent pick-up
Requirements:
  • Must be able to pass Texas Childcare licensing background screen
  • Must be at least 20 years of age
  • Available 2:30 - 6:15 p.m. Monday through Friday during the school year
  • Childcare and/or teaching experience with children ages 12 to 35 months is strongly preferred
