Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Material Handler/Forklift Operator to join our team at Hire Energy. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently moving, loading, and unloading materials and products throughout our facility while ensuring safety and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Material Handling: Pick up and move materials that are not loaded on a skid or pallet.
  • Loading and Unloading: Load and unload materials in and out of trucks or warehouses.
  • Stock Movement: Move stock around the warehouse to the appropriate sections.
  • Inventory Management: Scan incoming inventory, track inventory, and record the number of units moved.
  • Labeling and Sorting: Label and sort incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Maintenance: Perform daily maintenance on the forklift, including cleaning, oiling, and recharging batteries.
  • Safety Compliance: Follow safety regulations and company guidelines, and handle hazardous materials carefully.
  • Quality Assurance: Perform quality checks to identify damages, shortages, and defects.
  • Documentation: Document the arrival, departure, and movement of goods.
Requirements
  • MUST have prior experience operating a forklift.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to follow safety regulations and company guidelines.
  • Physical ability to lift and move materials as required.
