Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Telecommunication Installation Specialist to join our team at Citynet LLC. This is a rewarding opportunity for an experienced professional to work on a variety of fiber optic placing and splicing activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Familiarize yourself with industry standards, including Telcordia standards, to ensure compliance and quality workmanship.
  • Perform work according to design engineer's instructions and maintain the scope of work on projects.
  • Enter and maintain accurate outside plant records and engineering facility records through work order processing.
  • Operate construction equipment safely and efficiently to complete installations.
  • Determine correct procedures for OSP placing and prepare records and diagrams accordingly.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with property owners and colleagues.
  • Ability to inspect or test lines or cables, recording and analyzing results to assess transmission characteristics and locate faults.
  • Access specific areas to string lines or install terminal boxes, auxiliary equipment, or appliances using bucket trucks or climbing poles/ladders.
  • Set up service for customers by installing, connecting, testing, or adjusting equipment.
Work Environment and Benefits

This role requires working in both inside and outside environments. As a Telecommunication Installation Specialist at Citynet LLC, you can expect a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience.
