About This Role

As a key member of our leadership team, the Assistant Manager Nursing Unit L&D will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality patient care and promoting a positive work environment.

We are seeking an experienced Registered Professional Nurse with strong clinical leadership skills and a passion for excellence in patient care.

Responsibilities

The Assistant Manager Nursing Unit L&D will be responsible for:

  • Assisting the Nurse Manager in planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating clinical and administrative functions on assigned units
  • Leading and developing staff to provide high-quality patient care and achieve quality improvement outcomes
  • Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to promote effective communication and teamwork
  • Managing staff, equipment, and materials to ensure efficient and safe patient care
Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

  • A Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree
  • Current licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse in the state of New York
  • At least 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in a leadership role

Kaleida Health offers a competitive salary range of $74,724-$102,550.50 annually, based on factors such as experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
