We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Key Carrier Department Supervisor to join our team at HomeGoods. As a Key Carrier, you will alternate between Coordinator and Key Carrier roles, taking on leadership responsibilities to maintain store operations and provide exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Lead by example, demonstrating exceptional customer service and promoting a positive internal and external customer experience
- Act as Manager on Duty, adhering to company policy and procedure, and ensuring store team performs tasks and activities in accordance with store plan
- Address immediate customer service issues, provide coaching to Associates, and exercise discretion regarding customer service policies to satisfy customers
- Maintain accurate Associate coverage in service areas, ensure Associates adhere to operational procedures, and execute opening/closing procedures according to company guidelines
- Communicate effectively with management and Associates, provide progress updates, and provide feedback, recognition, and coaching to Associates
- Partner with Management on Associate training needs, ensure adherence to labor laws, policies, and procedures, and promote credit and loyalty programs
- Support and participate in shrink reduction goals and programs, promote safety awareness, and maintain a safe environment
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
- Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors
- Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations
- Knowledge of company standard software, systems, and procedures
- Knowledge of merchandise flow in stores
- Proven problem-solving skills
- Able to effectively coach, delegate, and follow-up on multiple people/tasks
- Able to act quickly under challenging circumstances
- Capable of multi-tasking
- Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
- 1 year retail, 6 months leadership experience

This position has a starting pay range of $17.00 to $17.50 per hour. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
