We are currently seeking Generator Service Technicians for our expanding generator service division.

  • Work schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, with opportunities for overtime.
  • On-call rotation every six weeks.

Experience with car engines translates well to generator engines; if you can work on car engines, you can work on generators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct bi-annual maintenance services for residential and commercial clients on a daily basis.
  • Install and maintain monitoring systems.
  • Troubleshoot operational issues related to generators and associated equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance on generators.
  • Operate in a paperless environment using CRM software.
  • Be available for emergency calls on a rotating weekly basis.
  • Hourly pay is commensurate with experience.

Qualifications:

  • A mechanical background is advantageous for this role.
  • Self-motivated and driven individuals are preferred.
  • Some technical aptitude is required.
  • An electrical background is a plus.
  • Basic tools for electrical and plumbing work, along with testing equipment, are necessary.
  • A clean driver's license is required.
  • Must be drug-free, as we maintain a drug-free workplace.
  • Knowledge of generators is a significant advantage (basic training on generator features and benefits will be provided).
  • This position is physically demanding; candidates must be able to lift up to 70 lbs occasionally and be comfortable bending, stooping, squatting, and kneeling for extended periods.
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions, including heat, wind, and rain.
  • Candidates should be methodical in their work and adhere to all company protocols.
  • Willingness to be cross-trained in all divisions of the company is essential.
