The Med Surg RN is accountable for delivering nursing care to the general medical/surgical populations using the nursing process.
Special populations include vascular, wound care, GI, and ophthalmology surgeries.
This position oversees and directs the care provided by LPNs and assistive personnel, maintaining ultimate accountability for the care delivered to assigned patients.

It encompasses five medical campuses, including the Main South Campus, the North Campus Behavioral Health and Wellness Center, Centennial Medical Plaza, Spalding Rehabilitation Hospital, and Spalding Rehabilitation at P/SL.
The Main Campus is a Level II Trauma Center with Primary Stroke Certification and Chest Pain Center accreditation, serving the eastern metro area and I-70 corridor.
