Labor and Delivery Nurse

Bozeman Health is seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Nurse to join our team. As a Registered Nurse in our Labor and Delivery department, you will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care. Your responsibilities will include assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and providing education to patients and families. You will also be responsible for initiating appropriate interventions and collaborating with other members of the healthcare team to ensure seamless care. To be successful in this role, you will need to possess strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. **Key Responsibilities:**

* Collects comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation
* Analyzes assessment data to determine diagnoses or issues
* Develops individualized care plans to attain expected outcomes
* Implements care plans and evaluates their effectiveness
* Employs strategies to promote health and a safe environment
* Systematically enhances the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice

**Requirements:**

* Montana licensure as a Registered Nurse
* American Heart Association BLS certification
* Neonatal Resuscitation Program Provider certification within 6 months of hire
* Electronic Fetal Monitoring Series Certificate of Completion within 6 months of hire
* American Heart Association ACLS certification within 1 year of hire
* Competence in modified primary nursing
* Two hours of initial cerebrovascular disease education within one year of hire

**Preferred Qualifications:**

* One year of labor and delivery experience
