Job Title: Pediatric Medicine Specialist

Job Summary:

Northeast Healthcare Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Medicine Specialist to join our team. As a Pediatric Medicine Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality healthcare services to patients under the direction and supervision of the Medical Director.

Responsibilities:

  • Examine patients, take medical histories, and make preliminary diagnoses of disease, illness, and injury.
  • Assess patient health by interviewing patients, performing physical examinations, and obtaining and updating medical histories.
  • Identify short-term and long-range patient care issues and provide information and recommendations for options and courses of action.
  • Administer or order diagnostic tests, such as X-rays, electrocardiograms, and blood work, and interpret test results.
  • Perform therapeutic procedures, such as immunizations, injections, suturing, and wound care, and manage infections.
  • Work in triage and make decisions on patient care needs.

Requirements:

  • Completion of a four-year undergraduate degree, four years of medical school earning a MD or DO degree, one year of rotating internship, and two years of residency in Pediatrics.
  • Board certification or board eligibility in Pediatrics.
  • Completion of annual CME requirements.

Work Schedule: 8:00am-5:00pm, Monday-Friday
