Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
  • Develop and implement therapy plans to enhance student outcomes.
  • Provide direct therapy services at various school sites.

  • Document and track student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student educational plans.
  • Ensure compliance with school and state regulations regarding documentation and service delivery.


Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Texas.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Previous experience working with students in a school setting is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work effectively across multiple school sites.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
