Scooter Operator

At Restaurant Depot, we are seeking a reliable and skilled Scooter Driver to join our team. As a Scooter Driver, you will be responsible for operating pallet jacks to move items from one place to another, ensuring the safe transportation of goods.

• Operate pallet jacks to move items within the warehouse
• Assist with loading and unloading activities, ensuring the right item is selected and transported safely
• Perform pre-checks on electric pallet jacks to ensure they are in proper working order
• Perform minor troubleshooting activities when needed
• Ensure electric pallet jacks are maintained on a periodic basis
• Pick orders from storage areas and verify the accuracy of orders from order sheets
• Count quantity of items asked for by the customer and ensure any broken items are isolated and reported to the supervisor immediately
• Operate electric pallet jack to lift and transport items to the labeling and quality control section
• Make sure all items are boxed and appropriately labeled
• Transport items to delivery pallets safely and urgently

• Ability to operate pallet jacks and electric pallet jacks
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
