Job Summary

We are seeking a Design Engineer to join our widely respected and diverse Transportation Division in our New England office locations. This entry-level position will work with a team of professionals in developing highway and roadway design plans, including grading and drainage design, pavement design, utilities, stormwater design, quantities, specs, and contract documents for State DOT and Municipal projects throughout New York and New England.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop highway and roadway design plans, including grading and drainage design, pavement design, utilities, stormwater design, quantities, specs, and contract documents
  • Work with a team of professionals to deliver high-quality design services
  • Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs
  • Participate in project meetings and communicate effectively with team members and clients
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with E.I.T. required
  • 0-3 years of civil infrastructure design or construction administration experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or Microstation/InRoads a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively participate as part of a project team
