Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the overall condition of the hospital is maintained, including sanitation, order, and appearance.
  • Perform light manual work, adhering to established schedules and procedures.
  • Clean assigned areas, including patient rooms, offices, nurses stations, lounges, hallways, bathrooms, kitchen areas, elevators, and lobby areas.
  • Use dust cloths and vacuum cleaners to dust window sills, blinds, floors, and furniture; empty ashtrays and trash buckets; arrange furniture and equipment in an orderly fashion.
  • Make beds with clean linen in a prescribed manner; scour and polish sinks, tubs, mirrors, and similar equipment; replenish supplies of soap, towels, and other dispensable items.
Requirements
  • High school degree or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
