Job Summary

As a Field Access Manager at BioSpace, Inc., you will play a critical role in ensuring patients have access to prescribed treatments. This field-based position requires a reimbursement expert who can identify and address reimbursement challenges impacting patient access to our products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support patient access and deliver an industry-leading patient experience.

Responsibilities

Assist in resolving patient-specific access barriers to our products as prescribed by healthcare providers

Educate healthcare office staff about prior authorization and appeals processes, and provide high-level information about submission procedures and reauthorization requirements

Work compliantly and proactively to identify and resolve patient access and reimbursement issues within assigned geographies

Provide factual process information to healthcare offices using patient consent

Serve as a reimbursement expert for patient support services teams for assigned geographies and plans

Monitor patient start trends in assigned geographies and plans, and collaborate with market access teams to address emerging patient access challenges

Requirements

5+ years of experience in reimbursement and patient access, market access, specialty pharmacy, or physician/system account management

Bachelor's degree required

Experience working with healthcare providers and offices preferred

Product launch experience a plus

Experience navigating payer reimbursement processes, preferably Medicare Part D

Experience with specialty products acquired through specialty pharmacy networks

Proven record of success through cross-functional collaboration and execution

Patient-centric and service-oriented mindset, with high emotional intelligence and empathy

Strong communication and presentation skills

Understanding of patient privacy laws, including HIPAA

High learning agility and business acumen

Ability to travel and cover large multistate geographies, up to 75% travel required
