Job Summary and Qualifications
As a proficient Operating Room Registered Nurse, you will deliver outstanding patient care during surgical and invasive procedures.

Under the guidance of the OR Manager, you will collaborate with team members to ensure the operating room is adequately prepared for procedures.

Our team is dedicated to supporting one another, and we are in search of an exceptional nurse who shares our commitment to meaningful patient care.


In this role:

• You will perform general nursing duties and demonstrate competence in all OR procedures as verified by specific competencies.
• You will facilitate smooth and efficient room turnover and patient flow.
• You will complete all necessary paperwork and computer charting to ensure accurate and timely documentation and patient charges.
• You will utilize your prior experience to anticipate and fulfill the needs of the surgeon.

• You will ensure the Pre-op Checklist is complete (H&P present, informed consent signed, test results present, etc.) before the patient is taken into the surgical suite.
• You will consistently be prepared for assigned cases.
• You will appropriately respond to patients in emergency or distressing situations.
• You will facilitate communication between patients, surgeons, OR staff, families, and other departments as necessary.
• You will provide a thorough report of the patient's intraoperative condition to the PACU nurse.

• You will adhere to patient and employee safety/security policies and protocols, including hand hygiene, use of universal precautions, personal protective equipment, and isolation procedures.
• You will maintain a composed and professional demeanor, especially under pressure.


What qualifications you will need:
• Registered Nurse
• Associate Degree
• Previous experience as an Operating Room Nurse is REQUIRED.
