Key Responsibilities

As a Pharmacist, you will be responsible for:

  • Educating healthcare staff and patients on medication management.
  • Compounding and dispensing medications as prescribed for patient care.
  • Managing professional and technical tasks related to medication distribution, maintaining drug inventories, and overseeing patient records and financial documentation.
  • Supervising pharmacy interns and technicians within your designated area.
  • Ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and regulations to maintain compliance and safeguard patient safety.

Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. from an accredited institution.
  • Valid Pharmacy License in the State of Texas.
  • IV Certification or willingness to obtain within six months of employment.
  • Familiarity with pharmacy operational systems, including unit dose distribution, IV admixture, quality assurance, drug utilization review, pharmacy information systems, and automated dispensing technologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least one year of experience as a pharmacist.
