Position Overview: We are in search of a distinguished litigator to step into a Partner role within our reputable law firm. This is a prime opportunity for an experienced attorney with a significant client portfolio to enhance the firm's growth while expanding their own practice. The position is designed for a driven individual eager to utilize their established client relationships and network to broaden their influence within the firm.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all facets of litigation, including depositions, hearings, arbitrations, mediations, and trials.
  • Formulate and implement litigation strategies, manage discovery processes, draft legal documents, and lead trial teams.
  • Effectively manage a diverse caseload across various jurisdictions, ensuring clients receive timely legal counsel.
  • Engage in business development initiatives to attract and retain clientele.
  • Mentor junior attorneys and support staff, promoting a collaborative team environment.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making at the partner level to drive the firm's growth.
  • Uphold a high standard of client service to ensure satisfaction and retention.
Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited institution.
  • Must be admitted to the New Jersey state bar.
  • Admission to the New York state bar is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of litigation experience, particularly in business law.
  • A substantial book of business showcasing the ability to cultivate and maintain client relationships.
  • Proven legal expertise with a successful litigation track record.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, capable of representing the firm to a diverse clientele.
  • Strong leadership abilities, with experience in mentoring junior attorneys.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, adept at managing multiple cases and projects.
  • A dedication to maintaining the highest ethical standards and professional integrity.
