Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Head Start Teacher Assistant. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young children and their families.


Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement lesson plans that promote learning and development in young children.
  2. Provide support and guidance to children during daily activities, such as circle time, science, and home-related activities.
  3. Work closely with the Center Director and Classroom Teacher to maintain a calm and productive classroom environment.
  4. Ensure the safety and well-being of children through constant supervision and effective risk management.

Estimated Salary: $42,000 - $52,000 per year


Requirements and Qualifications
  • A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience working with young children, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.

Working Conditions

This position requires regular working hours of 8:00 am - 4:00 pm, with some flexibility to accommodate irregular schedules. Some out-of-town and overnight travel may be required.
