Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a high-quality treatment program that meets the needs of our patients and exceeds regulatory standards.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive community relations program that fosters strong partnerships with local healthcare providers and community organizations.
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the program, ensuring alignment with Horizon Health's mission and goals.
  • Supervise and provide clinical guidance to program staff, including nursing, counseling, and administrative personnel.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures that ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Participate in assessing and reassessing program needs and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Supervise patient care and ensure accurate reporting and recording of patient symptoms, reactions, and progress.
  • Develop processes to audit and coordinate ongoing education and training for staff.
  • Recruit, interview, and select qualified staff for the program.
  • Provide opportunities for professional growth and development of staff through individual training plans and participation in training programs.
Requirements
  • Graduate degree in a relevant field (e.g., psychology, social work, nursing).
  • CPR certification.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an acute care mental health setting.
