This role is essential in advancing our sophisticated AI Decisioning platform, which seamlessly combines declarative logic, non-declarative machine learning, and human-in-the-loop automation.
As the Senior Security GRC Analyst, you will report directly to the VP of Technical Operations. Your primary responsibility will be to spearhead the strategic planning and execution of worldwide Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) initiatives and audits, ensuring adherence to relevant regulations and industry benchmarks.
Work Environment: This position is remote, with a preference for candidates located in the Central or Eastern Time Zones.
Key Responsibilities:
- Effectively lead both internal and external audit processes.
- Oversee compliance tasks related to standards such as SOC2, ISO27001, GDPR, and HIPAA.
- Collaborate with the Data Protection Officer to manage data requests and enforce privacy policies.
- Identify and mitigate cybersecurity risks through comprehensive risk and vulnerability assessments.
- Assist in the preparation and review of external audits.
- Evaluate internal policies and controls, identifying opportunities for enhancement.
- Work closely with stakeholders to address security trends and mitigate risks.
- Develop and maintain GRC documentation and operational workflows.
- Assess and improve the effectiveness of controls.
- Support customer assurance initiatives and conduct vendor security evaluations.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in managing ISO27001 and/or SOC2 compliance, ideally within a Cloud/SaaS environment.
- Proven track record of collaborating with auditors and implementing compliance improvements.
- Ability to engage with clients for security assessments and reviews.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across various teams.
- Familiarity with compliance tools; experience with Vanta is advantageous.
- Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills, including proficiency in report writing.
- Experience in completing security questionnaires and working with cloud technologies.
- Relevant certifications such as CISM are preferred.
