Telemetry Technician

## Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Telemetry Technician to join our team at Select Medical. As a Telemetry Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and promoting healing and recovery in a compassionate environment.

## Responsibilities

* Continuously monitor and ensure timely responses to alarms on EKG machines
* Verify correct identification of basic rhythms, lethal rhythms, and artifact
* Maintain EKG monitor alarms and respond to all alarms as needed
* Complete EKG interpretations, including rate, regularity, PRI, QRS, QTI, QTc, ST segment, waveform alterations, and rhythm interpretation
* Ensure strip interpretations are validated by RN

## Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent
* Preferred background as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Licensed Paramedic, or RN nursing student with EKG training
* Ability to work in a dynamic environment and be a customer-service oriented team member
