Job Description

The Rehabilitation Psychologist will play a vital role in the rehabilitation process, working closely with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide comprehensive psychological services. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of psychological principles, development, and interpersonal dynamics, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans to address patients' psychological needs.
  • Administer and interpret psychological and neuropsychological tests to inform treatment decisions.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to address a range of psychological issues, including anxiety, depression, and cognitive impairment.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for patients.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.

Requirements:

  • Current licensure as a psychologist in the State of Illinois.
  • Completion of a Ph.D. or Psy.D. from an accredited school of psychology and successful completion of a clinical internship and necessary postdoctoral supervised experience to obtain licensure.
  • Strong understanding of psychological principles, development, and interpersonal dynamics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
