Job Summary:

Weis Markets is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Meat Sales Associate to join our team. As a Meat Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized meat department, and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Greet customers, answer questions, and provide product recommendations to ensure a positive shopping experience.
  • Meat Department Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized meat department, including restocking shelves, rotating product, and ensuring proper pricing and signage.
  • Product Handling: Handle and prepare meat products, including grinding and cutting, while adhering to food safety and quality standards.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with receiving, unloading, and storing deliveries, as well as monitoring inventory levels to minimize shrink and control damages.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure a smooth operation of the department and store.

Requirements:

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: No prior experience required, but a willingness to learn and grow with our company is essential.
