Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Pain Management Physician Assistant to join our team. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and a passion for providing high-quality patient care.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive new patient assessments, including medical history, physical exams, and diagnostic tests
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals
  • Prescribe medications and order lab work as necessary
  • Provide education to patients on pain management regimens and offer support during follow-up visits
  • Assist in surgical procedures, including suturing, paperwork, and IV administration
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
  • Collaborate with primary care providers and specialists to ensure seamless care coordination

Requirements:

  • Active and unrestricted NJ Physician Assistant license
  • Board certification by ANCC or AANP
  • Current DEA & CDS License
  • BLS Certification
  • ACLS Certification
  • Minimum 2 years of acute and chronic pain management experience
  • Regenerative medicine and IV experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work autonomously and make sound judgments
