Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Pain Management Physician Assistant to join our team. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and a passion for providing high-quality patient care.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive new patient assessments, including medical history, physical exams, and diagnostic tests
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals
- Prescribe medications and order lab work as necessary
- Provide education to patients on pain management regimens and offer support during follow-up visits
- Assist in surgical procedures, including suturing, paperwork, and IV administration
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Collaborate with primary care providers and specialists to ensure seamless care coordination
Requirements:
- Active and unrestricted NJ Physician Assistant license
- Board certification by ANCC or AANP
- Current DEA & CDS License
- BLS Certification
- ACLS Certification
- Minimum 2 years of acute and chronic pain management experience
- Regenerative medicine and IV experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work autonomously and make sound judgments
