APPS Paramedical Services, a leading health examination and information provider, is seeking dependable and detail-oriented healthcare professionals to work from home in the state of Iowa. As a medical examiner, you will conduct physical examinations, testing, and personal health interviews for the life insurance industry's leading providers.
Responsibilities- Perform mobile paramedical healthcare exams, including health history, vitals, and specimen collection.
- Conduct non-interpretive ECG tracings using provided equipment.
- Self-schedule your caseload, accepting or declining cases as needed.
- Communicate effectively with the regional office's staff regarding case status and any issues that arise.
- Maintain professional conduct and represent the healthcare industry and APPS Paramedical Services with integrity.
- Current licensure or certification is not required, but previous certification or commensurate experience is necessary.
- One year of recent phlebotomy experience and completion of 100 successful draws are required.
- A valid driver's license and own transportation with valid insurance are necessary.
- Excellent communication, organization, and technical skills are essential for this position.
- A computer, preferably a laptop with a camera or a tablet, and a mobile phone are required for documentation and communication purposes.
- A competitive pay rate of up to $50.00 per case, depending on the requirements of each case.
- Liability insurance provided by APPS Paramedical Services for our examiners.
