Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute electrical tasks while adhering to safety protocols
  • Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical systems and machinery
  • Oversee work orders, track time, and manage parts usage
  • Evaluate production machinery and facilities for compliance with safety standards
  • Support the installation of new machinery and equipment
  • Update and maintain electrical schematics and plant drawings
  • Develop and implement Job Safety Analyses (JSA) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical components effectively

Qualifications:

  • Completion of an apprenticeship or electrical trade school is preferred
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as an Industrial Electrician in a manufacturing setting
  • Familiarity with plant safety regulations and practices
  • Proficient in diagnosing electrical and control systems
  • Basic computer proficiency is required
  • Experience with Preventative Maintenance Programs is advantageous
  • Capability to operate tools and equipment safely
  • Fluency in English is necessary
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including days and nights

Educational Background:

  • High School diploma or equivalent is mandatory
  • Technical training is required
  • 3 years of relevant experience as an industrial electrician is essential

Certifications:

  • Certification as an Electrician is preferred
