Role Summary

We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the role of Adjunct Nursing Clinical Instructor. This position involves delivering high-quality clinical instruction to nursing students during their practical training sessions at our designated clinical facilities.

Key Responsibilities

The Adjunct Nursing Clinical Instructor will be tasked with:

  • Providing effective clinical instruction and assessment for nursing students in various clinical settings, including:
    • Pediatrics
    • Maternity Care
    • Medical-Surgical Nursing
    • Psychiatric and Behavioral Health

Compensation

The remuneration for this position is set at $75 per hour for the Fall and Spring semesters.

Qualifications

  • A Master's degree in Nursing is required.
  • An active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State.
  • Excellent interpersonal, public speaking, and written communication skills.
  • Previous experience in teaching or a similar educational role.
  • Proven ability to solve problems effectively and work autonomously.
  • Professional representation of the University is essential.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Collaboration skills to work effectively with faculty, staff, and administration.
  • Proficiency in using Google Suite and Gmail.
