Cook II

We are seeking a skilled Cook II to join our team at Bally\u2019s Black Hawk Casino. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality food products while maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.

• Prepare and cook food products to meet quality and quantity standards
• Adhere to food safety procedures and guidelines
• Estimate daily production needs and check the quality of raw and cooked food products
• Assist with food delivery check-in and ensure proper labeling and rotation of food items
• Follow property opening and closing procedures
• Coordinate daily tasks with the Executive Chef/Sous Chef
• Cover off days for the Executive Chef/Sous Chef
• Ensure effective communication between staff

• High School diploma or GED required
• Previous work experience in a professional kitchen is a must
• One plus years of experience in a food service environment
• Advanced knife skills and knowledge of kitchen equipment usage
• Knowledge of kitchen safety and etiquette
• Emphasis on high-level guest service
