We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team at Corewell Health's 6 West orthopedic unit in Troy. Job Summary:
We offer an exciting opportunity for an experienced RN to join our team as a full-time Night Shift nurse on the 6 West unit. This role requires a strong foundation in nursing practice, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide professional nursing care to patients with various orthopedic conditions, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and discharge.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation according to hospital policies and procedures.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance clinical knowledge and skills.
- Foster a culture of safety, respect, and compassion within the unit.
Requirements:
- Current MI RN licensure
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field required; Associate's degree accepted with experience
- American Heart Association BLS certification
- At least one year of acute care experience in an orthopedic setting preferred

Shift:
Night shift, Monday through Friday, with every third weekend
