Development Director, Southern California

**Job Overview:**
Facing History and Ourselves, Inc is seeking an experienced Development Director to support fundraising strategies in the Southern California region. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in donor cultivation, stewardship, and solicitation.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Qualify, cultivate, solicit, and steward a portfolio of current and potential donors with the capacity to give gifts of up to $25,000.
- Support donor management cycle and fundraising campaign efforts for the SoCal region as a whole.
- Plan and execute donor-focused events that deepen donor engagement and stimulate revenue growth.
**Requirements:**
- Demonstrated fundraising experience, including donor cultivation, stewardship, and solicitation.
- Ability to multitask and be flexible while showing attention to detail.
- Genuine commitment to the mission of Facing History & Ourselves and ability to articulate the importance of the organization's work to a variety of audiences.
**Salary:** Estimated salary range: $90,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience.
