Principal Toxicology Specialist
Solventum is a leading company in the healthcare industry, and we are seeking a highly skilled Principal Toxicology Specialist to join our team.
As a Principal Toxicology Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and efficacy of our medical devices and products. You will work closely with our product development teams to provide toxicology guidance and material selection through the preparation of biocompatibility evaluations, hazard assessments, and product risk assessments.
The Impact You'll Make in this Role
Support product development teams with toxicology guidance and material selection
Determine appropriate strategies for assessment of complex medical devices or products
Communicate toxicity testing and risk assessment results internally and externally
Provide technical guidance to other staff groups involved with regulatory and hazard communication issues
Maintain a strong operational knowledge of industry technologies, products, customers, and customers' needs
Your Skills and Expertise
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in toxicology, pharmacology, chemical, or biological sciences. A bachelor's degree or higher, or equivalent experience, is required. Additionally, you will need to have experience with evaluation of health care products according to US and international regulatory standards, such as ISO 10993.

Travel: May include up to 10% domestic/international
