Job Summary

Champion Contracting Corporation is seeking a highly skilled carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry, with experience in framing, drywall, wood structures, flooring, and demo. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to understand project requirements.
  • Take precise measurements and calculate material quantities.
  • Work with metal and wood framing, including roof truss components.
  • Operate hand and power tools to cut, fabricate, and install framework.
  • Build and repair cabinets, doors, frameworks, floors, and other wooden fixtures.
  • Construct scaffolding, safety rails, and other construction structures as needed.
Requirements
  • At least 3+ years of experience as a carpenter.
  • Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods.
  • Proficient in using hand and power tools.
  • Ability to read technical documents and drawings.
  • Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times.
  • Good understanding of basic math.
