Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Treatment: Conduct thorough assessments of patients, determine necessary care, and deliver emergency services using appropriate medical techniques and equipment.
  • Documentation and Confidentiality: Accurately document patient information, condition, and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
  • Environment and Equipment: Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients, and utilize EMT skills to provide care, including communications, medical equipment, cleaning procedures, office equipment, and tools.
  • Vehicle Operations: Operate an ambulance in conjunction with applicable company safety policies and traffic laws related to the operation of emergency medical response vehicles.
  • Collaboration and Community: Work collaboratively and professionally with allied health and public safety personnel, as well as participate in community programs to maintain the company image and establish strong community relations.
Requirements
  • Age and Education: Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Certifications and Licenses: National or State EMT-I certification, CPR/BLS certifications, and a valid State Driver's License.
  • Driving Record and Physical Agility: Maintain a driving record in compliance with company policy and pass a Physical Agility Test.
  • Experience: Some work experience, preferably in healthcare, is preferred.
