Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance, monitoring, and repairs to mechanical, plumbing, structural, and control systems to ensure facility and building systems meet applicable standards.
  • Conduct quality control reviews to identify and correct recurrent operational problems, evaluate vendors and suppliers, and verify delivery accuracy.
  • Ensure a safe working environment by complying with departmental policies, maintaining a clean and safe workplace, and monitoring tool and instrument inventory.
  • Collaborate with external contractors to monitor the quality and pricing of maintenance work.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent, with two years of trades schooling in electrical system design, refrigeration, and HVAC.
  • Certification as a Universal Technician for CFC's (or within 90 days of employment).
  • Working knowledge of computer applications, including Word and Excel.
  • Two years of experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
  • Ability to analyze system operations, identify problems, and take corrective action.
