**Job Description:**
Job Responsibilities- Prepare mail lists for mailing by utilizing appropriate mailing software, selecting the correct template, importing data, CASS certifying, NCOA, de-duplicating, verifying addresses, creating track and trace files, and preparing folders.
- Submit.dat files to USPS software to confirm proper class (first class, standard, marketing, etc.) and print reports for post office submission.
- Manipulate data by creating formulas and scripts within mailing software to conform to client customization when variable data is supplied.
- Collaborate with Mailing Supervisor to prepare files for production, answer questions, and provide support.
- Communicate with Variable Data Processing team to alert them of mail list data readiness for processing.
- Upload files to mailing machines and update Monarch for counts and label layout.
- Understand postal pre-sort methods and prepare files for optimization.
- Record time spent on job by clocking in and out of Monarch Shop Floor Data.
- Attend internal launch meetings to offer input on mailing capabilities for various clients and jobs.
- Assist in other departments as needed.
- Follow safety procedures, including Lock-out-tag-out, Hazard Communication, OSHA rules, and regulations.
- Comply with all safety and work rules and regulations, maintaining departmental housekeeping standards.
- Maintain the highest level of security and confidentiality as defined by company policy.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Operations, Printing & Mailing and/or President/CEO.
- High School diploma or GED preferred.
- At least 2-3 years of relevant work experience working with mail lists and mailing software programs.
- Prefer mail certification training.
- Prefer Mail Professional Certification.
- Prefer Mail Professional Advanced Certification.
- At least 2 years of experience working with mailing lists, preferably in a printing environment.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience working with professional mailing software such as BCC Mailing Manager and/or similar software.
- Must possess a clear understanding of USPS requirements for presort and NCOA.
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Excel.
- Complete all required training courses upon hire and annually thereafter.
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
- Exclusion from the System for Award Management (SAM) List of Excluded Individuals and Entities (LEIE) prior to hire and ongoing throughout tenure at the company.
- Routine and minimal visual requirements (reading with attention to detail, shapes, shadows, contrasts).
- Moderate and light lifting/carrying - up to 10lbs.
- Heavy lifting/carrying - up to 25lbs.
