The Industrial Electrical Maintenance Specialist will prioritize safety and efficiency while supporting manufacturing processes. This role involves the installation and upkeep of electrical systems within facilities and machinery.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct inspections to evaluate electrical system integrity and identify damages.
• Interpret schematics and troubleshoot electrical issues.
• Replace or repair components as necessary and perform routine maintenance checks to ensure optimal functionality of electrical systems.

In addition, the specialist may be tasked with upgrading facilities, executing mechanical repairs, and providing technical assistance to staff. Training and mentoring of maintenance team members while upholding safety regulations is also a critical aspect of this position.

As a key leader, you will oversee the planning, organization, and execution of maintenance tasks, guiding mechanics and helpers in their repair and preventative maintenance duties across machinery, equipment, and facilities.

This position will leverage a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to maintain work records and monitor parts usage efficiently.


Essential Duties:
• Provide and maintain necessary tools and equipment for job functions.
• Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and components in industrial machinery, adhering to electrical codes.
• Follow electrical schematics for troubleshooting and modifications.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLC) and understand ladder logic.
• Execute programming and installations on the production floor, including PLCs, HMIs, and quality control systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance on electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and HVAC systems.
• Connect and program Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) motors and drives.
• Conduct advanced diagnostic work and repairs according to daily work orders.
• Mentor and train fellow maintenance department members.
• Assist in the daily operations of the facility while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

• Manage inventory of equipment parts and supplies by monitoring stock levels and anticipating needs.

• Troubleshoot and repair high-speed automation equipment, including bagging and palletizing machinery.
• Remove defective components using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Inspect parts for dimensional accuracy using various measuring instruments.

• Support incoming product/material handling as per business requirements.
• Participate in facility cleaning and sanitizing in accordance with established policies.
• Function as a backup for production roles as needed.

• Work overtime as required, including attending training sessions mandated by safety regulations.

• Operate powered industrial equipment safely and effectively.
• Maintain and clean molds, dies, and tooling as necessary.
• Assist with facility shutdown and startup procedures comprehensively.



Working Hours:
7:00am - 3:30 PM

Preferred Skills:
• Fabrication and welding experience is advantageous.
• Mechanical aptitude training or machining education is a plus.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and MasterCam is beneficial.
