Cashier - Student

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cashier - Student to join our team at Food City. As a Cashier - Student, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Operate a cash register accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card transactions, and other forms of payment.
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment by restocking shelves, sweeping the floor, and performing other tasks as needed.
• Assist with light stocking duties, such as restocking candy and cigarettes.
• Participate in weekly produce tests and ensure that all not-on-file items are recorded and turned in daily.
• Follow company policies and procedures for handling coupons, debit/credit card transactions, and other forms of payment.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
