Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our team at Amentum. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing civil engineering projects, including construction, alteration, and repair of facilities and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop civil engineering projects, including structural, architectural, and hydraulic designs
  • Prepare and review designs, plans, specifications, and design analyses for technical adequacy and compliance with government standards
  • Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met
  • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with plans and specifications
  • Develop and maintain technical engineering data and specifications for facilities and equipment
  • Prepare project cost estimates, change orders, and supplemental agreements
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering through ABET
  • Valid and active United States Driver's License
  • Ability to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC)
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English
  • Ability to meet physical demands associated with the job
