We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Specialist to join our team at Meridian Adhesives Group - USA. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining Quality Plans, ensuring the highest standards of quality in our products.
Key Responsibilities- Quality Control Inspections: Perform timely and thorough inspections of incoming materials, in-process batches, and completed batches to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Post Control Testing: Conduct testing and evaluation as required to verify batch quality and identify areas for improvement.
- Batch Verification: Verify that batches meet all specifications and quality standards.
- Feedback and Communication: Provide feedback to R&D concerning out-of-specification trends and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
- Equipment Calibration: Calibrate mechanical and electrical components for testing, maintaining accurate records.
- Database Management: Maintain the QC database, creating reports as needed to support quality decision-making.
- Support to R&D and Engineering: Provide assistance to R&D and Engineering departments as required, including small batch production and testing.
- Customer Complaints: Review customer complaints and returns, determining disposition and communicating with stakeholders.
- Lab Maintenance: Maintain the integrity of the Quality Control Lab, ensuring a clean and organized workspace.
- Minimum 2 years QC experience in an industrial environment.
- Experience with polymer technology is a plus.
- Excellent communication and organization skills are essential.
- Proficiency in computer and planning skills is required.
- Accurate and detailed work ethic with a focus on high-quality results.
- Diligence in following procedures and adherence to quality standards.
- Ability to work flexible schedules and overtime as needed.
- Basic skills related to Quality Plan implementation are required.
- Ability to preplan daily activities in support of quality objectives.
An Associate's or Technical Degree from a four-year College or University, or three to five years related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive hourly rate of $19.00-$24.00 per hour.
