Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Assembly Mechanic to join our team at Prolec-GE Waukesha, Inc. As an Assembly Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing various assembly processes in the production area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive instructions and assignments from supervisors and follow guidelines set forth by job expectations.
  • Select proper materials and parts for assembly operations, setup and layout materials and tools, and mix and apply epoxy and/or insulating compounds where specified.
  • Use hand and air tools, brazing equipment, crimpers, oil processing equipment, drill presses, punch, band saw, cranes, hydraulic jacks, scales, micrometer, square, etc.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent and previous experience in assembly, electrical systems, or a related field.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
