Job Responsibilities : We are in search of a motivated Medical Surgical RN to join our team. We require a compassionate and dependable RN to deliver care and treatment to adult patients who are ill, injured, or recovering within our patient-centered care framework. In this role, you will be expected to perform clinical assessments and manage treatment independently. You will collaborate with a dedicated team that strives to support one another while providing outstanding care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Gather comprehensive information relevant to the patient's health status.
- Serve as an advocate for patients within the interdisciplinary team.
- Evaluate assessment data to establish diagnoses or issues.
- Identify anticipated outcomes for a tailored care plan based on the patient’s needs.
- Champion patient safety at all times.
- Ensure efficient care and optimal use of resources, including time, supplies, and equipment.
- Educate patients about their medications, procedures, and treatments, providing ongoing support to patients and their families throughout their care journey.
Qualifications:
- Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida, or possess the ability to obtain licensure prior to starting.
Education:
- Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
- A minimum of 1 year of RN experience in an Acute Care setting is preferred.
- BLS certification (AHA Healthcare provider) is required prior to starting.
- NIH Stroke Scale certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment commencement.
