Responsibilities:
  • Teaching and Instruction: Instruct students in the classroom, lab, and/or clinical setting, promoting a positive learning environment and ensuring that students meet course objectives.
  • Curriculum Development: Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement the curriculum, ensuring that it is current, relevant, and aligned with industry standards.
  • Student Support: Provide individualized support to students, including tutoring and mentoring, to help them succeed in their academic and professional pursuits.
  • Assessment and Evaluation: Evaluate student progress and achievement, providing constructive feedback and recommendations for improvement.
  • Professional Development: Stay current with industry developments and best practices, applying this knowledge to enhance teaching and learning.
Requirements:
  • Education: A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
  • Experience: At least three years of full-time experience as a Registered Nurse or part-time equivalent.
  • Licensure: Active, unencumbered licensure in the State of Ohio as a Registered Nurse.
  • Certification: Current American Heart Association compliant Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
