Job Summary:

HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital seeks a highly skilled Central Sterilization Director to lead our team.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of sterile processing experience, preferably with supervisory experience.

The successful candidate will oversee the daily operations of reprocessing surgical instruments and trays, direct and supervise staff for efficient sterilization processes, evaluate staff performance, provide training and development opportunities, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee day-to-day operations in central sterilization
  • Direct and supervise staff to ensure efficient sterilization processes
  • Evaluate staff performance and provide training as needed
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and standards
Qualifications:
  • At least 2 years of sterile processing experience
  • Supervisor experience preferred
  • BASIC CARDIAC LIFE SUPPORT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED WITHIN A SHORT PERIOD OF EMPLOYMENT START DATE
  • CERTIFIED STERILE PROCESSING TECHNICIAN REQUIRED (CSPT)
  • VOCATIONAL SCHOOL GRADUATE

Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year
