Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to patients in a medical-surgical setting, including administering medications, performing various medical procedures, and monitoring patient vital signs.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop plans to address these needs.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in medical-surgical nursing.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) with a current RN license.
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a medical-surgical setting, with a preference for travel nursing experience.
- Certifications: Current BLS and ACLS certifications, with the ability to obtain other certifications as required by the facility.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
