  • Ensure the store meets Health Department Standards consistently.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of equipment and breakers that should be turned off at night.
  • Be proficient in power failure procedures and the operation of the Point of Sale Register.
  • Collaborate with management to plan and assign shift tasks effectively.
  • Follow vendor check-in procedures diligently.
  • Ensure all employees participate in the Secret Shopper Program and adhere to Jiffy Trip standards.
  • Monitor compliance with Alcohol and Cigarette policies, ensuring no restricted items are sold to underage customers.
  • Verify that all employees on shift possess a valid license to sell alcohol.

Qualifications:

Education: A High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) is preferred.

Experience: Familiarity with health department standards is advantageous. Previous experience with cash registers and credit card machines is preferred. Candidates must be capable of handling currency transactions at the point of sale.

Working Environment: This position operates within a retail setting, typically indoors in a controlled climate. The role requires prolonged periods of standing and may involve irregular hours. Candidates should be prepared for the potential lifting or carrying of items weighing up to 50 pounds or more. There may also be exposure to various hazards, including equipment that could cause burns, extreme temperatures, dust, fumes, moving mechanical parts, and potential electrical conditions.
